Repono.AI ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Repono.AI platform, an AI-powered media management service accessible at repono.ai. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is securely hashed and never stored in plain text.

Media Files

We store the media files (videos, images, audio) that you upload to our platform. These files are stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 infrastructure.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the service, including files uploaded, storage consumed, tags created, and searches performed.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment data.

Third-Party Integrations

If you connect Dropbox or other third-party services, we store access tokens necessary to enable those integrations. We only access files you explicitly choose to import.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Repono.AI service
• Process your media files and generate AI-powered tags
• Manage your subscription and process payments
• Enable team collaboration features
• Send service-related communications (account confirmations, storage warnings)
• Improve and develop new features
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data or media files to third parties. We do not use your media content for AI model training.

4. AI Processing

When you upload media files, we send content to the Anthropic Claude API to generate descriptive tags. Images and video frames are transmitted to Anthropic for analysis. Audio files are tagged based on filename only and are not transmitted to third-party AI services.

Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle data submitted to their API. We do not store raw media content on Anthropic's systems — only temporary analysis requests are made.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your media files are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 in the United States. Your account data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) infrastructure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

Access to your media files is controlled through signed URLs that expire after one hour. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.

While we take security seriously, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Sharing

We share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: AWS (file storage), Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI tagging), Dropbox (optional integration)
• Team Members: If you invite team members to your workspace, they can access files in your shared library according to their assigned role
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data
• Disconnect third-party integrations at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your account and media data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible until you explicitly request deletion. We will delete your data within 30 days of a deletion request.

9. Cookies

Repono.AI uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Session cookies are essential for the service to function and cannot be disabled.

10. Children's Privacy

Repono.AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
